CLEAN: our production does not harm the environment.
GREEN: we respect the natural resources and do not use pollutants in order not to upset the environmental balance.
EXTREME: The rocky outcrops make the use of machinery impossible and we have to work extremely hard to harvest, climbing hundreds of stone steps every day with large baskets to collect the fruits. After all, lemon farming is often described as Italy’s agricoltura eroica (“heroic agriculture”).
Perched in the stunning cliffs and terrace gardens overlooking a spectacular stretch of Amalfi Coast, Positano Farm produces a veritable cornucopia of lovingly and naturally coltivated aubergines, peppers, tomatoes, apricots, figs, plums, peaches and more. Winter months bring bountiful potatoes, onions, broccoli, fennel and kale. In autumn, the brothers harvest grapes and pick their own olives and nuts. Most spectacularly, the lemon trees are laden with gorgeous, aromatic citrus nearly year round.
Clichés like paradise on earth and gardens of Eden come to mind - wholly justified by incredible passion for the land and respect for tradition at Positano Farm.
